Help someone when they need it most
Someone thinking about suicide may not ask for help, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help. Most people thinking of suicide just want the pain to stop. Talking openly about suicide can help save a life.
What is ASIST?
ASIST – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training – teaches you to identify people having thoughts of suicide and who may be at risk.
Join us in this two-day course as we teach you skills to help recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide. Anyone can learn these skills that may help you save a life, including:
• First responders
• HR professionals
• Elders and spiritual leaders
• Community service providers
• Teachers, professors, and coaches
• Life skills, shelter, and health field workers
